Leprechaun Hats

Today we made Leprechaun hats for St Patrick's day.  We talked about the funny little man and his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and we had a go, all by ourselves completing a problem solving activity.  Mrs Russell gave us the equipment we needed and gave us a set of instructions.  Some of us listened carefully and were able to copy Mrs Russell's hat, some of us really struggled with figuring out what to do when we were stuck.  It was a good lesson in giving us kids the opportunity to figure things out for ourselves.  Check out your child's handy work.
